What is Dental Sedation?
Dental sedation refers to a variety of techniques used to make patients more comfortable during dental procedures. Our dentists can help you determine if you would be a good candidate for sedation.

Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)
Nitrous oxide enables patients to stay awake and communicate. This medication is taken by inhaling it through the nose and mouth. This gas is colourless and may be either odourless or sweet-smelling.
IV Sedation
IV sedatives allow for the deepest level of sedation without general anesthesia by being administered directly into the bloodstream. Our dental team will attach you to a monitor so that the dentist can keep track of vital signs.
